Mid Level Front End Web Developer –CSS, HTML, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, JQuery
Start: ASAP
Salary: £25K - £33K, dependant on experience We have an immediate opportunity for a talented, even exceptional, Web developer to join our company. ANQ are a small company that punch above our weight with clients and partners being global in scope. We are the leader in our field and work with high profile clients. This is an exciting time to join the company as we consolidate our developments and grow into new market sectors in the UK, Europe and the USA.
You would be working on a range of diverse projects in one, or both of our two core sectors: Bespoke web and mobile based Business Intelligence developments and digital display systems (Digital at Retail, Digital Signage, Kiosks etc).

Duties will include:
- Using your proven track record in designing, developing, troubleshooting and maintaining complex web apps (for desktop and mobile delivery).
- Conversant developing using .Net technologies on Web platforms.
- Applying best practices in all aspects of development and being able to convey those best practices to all members of the team.
- Working on projects involving highly resilient deliverables that will be relied upon by large scale businesses.
- The ability to quickly scope developments against conceptual briefs to start the ball rolling on client projects, quickly progressing them to design and development stages.
- Being enthusiastic, open-minded, motivated with a practical and delivery focused attitude and passionate about the technologies you work with knowing that you never, ever stop learning as it’s a way of life.
- Minimum 5 years working in a fast paced, commercial development environment leveraging OO development techniques with the practical application of design patterns where applicable.
- High level experience in XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX, ASP.NET
- HTML5 including Canvas object and Web sockets to create Mobile / Responsive layouts
- Strong knowledge of multi-threaded applications, IP based server application development, web-based applications and n-tier applications.
- A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across large projects, adhering to industry standards.
- Knowledge of development frameworks and working with APIs, SDKs and Web Services (SOAP, XML, RSS).
- The ability to blend your knowledge of application, web, database and possibly even mobile developments to facilitate a full multi-channel development strategy where this is required.
- Fluent in working within the Visual Studio 2010 / 2012 development environment and SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2020 products.
- It is essential that you have the ability to quickly become adept at new technologies, platforms, tools, have practical experience of building software at all tiers along with delivering under pressure.
- You will have experience of software packing and deployment and have worked within a structured, team orientated development environment such as Subversion.
- Good client communication skills with more than a dash of commercial awareness for our client’s needs.
- Experience of Adobe Flex development, Flash and Flash ActionScript3
- Experience working with designing / coding UIs and strong UXG skills, Photoshop basics an advantage for cutout of comps etc.
- Mobile platform developments using cross platform tools (Mono, Flash etc) and/or native code.
- Experience creating Mobile / Responsive layouts
- Knowledge of developing for the Microsoft Azure platform
- Unit / Functional Testing methodologies

Jnr / Graduate Web Developer – ASP.NET, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, Flex/AS3, CSS3, HTML/5

Salary: £17,500 - £22,500 basic, dependant on commercial experience, if any
We have an opportunity for a talented, even exceptional, Jnr / Grad Web developer to join our company.
You would be working on a range of diverse, leading edge, projects in one, or both of our two core sectors: Digital display systems (Digital at Retail, Digital Signage, Kiosks etc and supporting and developing our in house enterprise digital signage platform on which our projects are built) and bespoke Business Intelligence systems. You will be a self starter and be capable of learning at a pace.

Duties will include:

- The ability to blend your knowledge of application, web, database and possibly even mobile developments to facilitate a full multi-channel development strategy where this is required.
- Mobile platform developments using cross platform tools (Mono, Flash, Dreamweaver, Flex etc) and/or native code.
- Experience or desire to work within the Visual Studio 2008 / 2010 development environment and SQL Server 2005 / 2008 products along with Dreamweaver and Flash/Flex IDE's.
