The ANQ 'Special Projects' division focuses is on the markets for current and future developments in the Internet, kiosks, digital signage, mobile apps and associated leading edge technologies. Usually, these projects consist of software application development (by ANQ) allied to hardware integration (usually, but not aways by ANQ) to provide a solution for a vertical market or application.
These special projects allow us to combine our expertise with web and mobile programming technologies, application development, custom content programming and audio visiual & computing systems integration to produce totally bespoke systems for almost any vertical market application.

LEICESTER TIGERS RUGBY CLUB (UK) – Ticket tracker system
Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, arguably Britain’s No 1, asked ANQ to produce for it a bespoke system to run in its ticket office. It needed to display in near real-time ticket sales against target for all up coming games to incentivise sales staff. ANQ produced a system which dynamically animated sales in a visually appealing way and also included a hidden backend administration system allowing the Sales Manager to change various display parameters and sales targets per game. The system links into the IT infrastructure to extract current ticket sales information for the Club’s ticketing database. GUESTNET (Far East & Europe) – Hotel internet system developments
GuestNet provides quick and simple access to the Internet, Premier Services and Email via the TV and a remote control keyboard in any hotel room without the need for any additional cabling, the existing RF TV cabling system is used to transfer information.
ANQ was responsible for the development, on behalf of GuestNet Corporation Ltd (Hong Kong), of the prototype GuestNet system. ANQ developed the system over a period of 18 months and project managed the installation of the first trial system at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel in London, England.
The prototype involved the software development of a client side browser, NT based HTTP Proxy Server and Server side administration front end.
PANATECH FC – Interactive large screen sports venue system
Panatech is a unique, computer based interactive studio, for use with giant screen video walls at sporting venues, especially football stadiums. The system is completely screen independent and works with any type of large video display from rear projection, through LED screens, to the mighty Sony Jumbotron.
The system was designed to be an integral part of an existing video studio or a stand alone studio in its own right. The interactive nature of the system allows the programming on the video wall to be tailored in real time, interactively, to the mood of the crowd and on pitch action.
A single operator could co-ordinate the full program, before, during and after the match. Featured real time, 3D broadcast quality animations (goal, free kick, throw in, foul, Mexican wave, substitution, etc), scoreboard, clock, operator entered scrolling messages, stats, gate, away game results and more.
